  18. Are you sure that USR changed the registers in upgraded ROMs for
  19. Sportsters? PnP Sportster and old Sportster are absolutely different
  20. modems. They have different architecture.  Old Sportsters 28800 are
  21. based on two processors: Intel 80C186 (or 80C188) and DSP, like Courier.
  22. New Sportsters PnP are based on one TMS processor only which has
  23. different instruction set. I think (not sure, of course) that old
  24. Sportsters with upgraded ROMs have the same registers as they had before
  25. upgrade. Also I believe that old Sportster will not work with firmware
  26. from PnP Sportster 33600.

  29. Sportster (not PnP!) ?
